Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wild Deer Expo website (the “Website”) operated by Ministry of Wild Pty Ltd (ABN 17 683 671 481) (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using the Website, purchasing tickets or merchandise, or entering competitions or giveaways, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Website Use

a. The Website is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise expressly authorised.
b. You agree not to misuse the Website, attempt to disrupt its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.
c. All intellectual property on the Website, including text, images, logos, and trademarks, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the Website without prior written consent.

2. Ticket Sales & Merch Purchases

a. All tickets for the Wild Deer Hunting & Outdoors Expo (“Event”) are sold through Ticketbooth. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to Ticketbooth’s terms and conditions in addition to these Terms.
b. Ticketbooth will collect and process your personal information to fulfil your purchase. We will also receive your contact details from Ticketbooth for event management purposes.
c. Tickets are non-refundable except as required by law or Ticketbooth’s own policies.
d. Merchandise purchased via the Website will be processed by us or our fulfilment partners. Delivery times are estimates only.

3. Privacy & Data Use

a. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
b. When you purchase a ticket, your details will be shared with Ticketbooth for transaction processing.
c. We may also share your contact details with Event sponsors and partners so they can provide you with relevant offers or information. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to this data sharing.
d. We may use your data for marketing purposes related to future events, products, or services unless you opt out.

4. Competitions & Prizes

a. From time to time, we and Event vendors may offer giveaways, competitions, or “lucky door” prizes. Prizes may be announced before or during the Event, or via our social media channels.
b. Vendor Responsibility: Where a prize is provided by a vendor, the vendor is solely responsible for the prize. We make no warranties and accept no liability for the quality, safety, fitness for purpose, or delivery of such prizes. Additional vendor terms and conditions may apply.
c. Collection & Forfeiture: Prizes must be collected as instructed. If a prize is not collected, forfeited, or unclaimed, we may retain it for marketing purposes or use it at the next Event.
d. Exclusions of Liability: All prizes are accepted “as is.” We do not offer exchanges, returns, or warranties for prizes.
e. Hunting Trip Prizes: Where a prize includes a hunting trip or guided outdoor activity:

The winner is responsible for all necessary licences, permits, and compliance with laws.
Travel to and from the location, taxidermy, and other incidental costs are the winner’s responsibility unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Failure to attend or communicate with the service provider in a timely fashion may result in forfeiture of the prize.

5. Disclaimer & Liability

a. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in relation to the Website, Event, merchandise, and prizes.
b. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website, attendance at the Event, or participation in a competition.
c. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will be posted on the Website, and continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We, and event brand partners, reserve the right to amend prize conditions at our discretion.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service, the Event’s Terms of Entry, and any applicable third-party conditions.
